Petit Robustos from Hoyo de Monterrey have an interesting evolution from the moment they are lit. They start of very mildly and evolve into something more powerful, without being aggressive or overwhelming at any moment. The young Cuban cigars are very aromatic and bear very captivating flavors. The first part of the cigar is covered up in something that tastes a lot like earthy sweetness, while towards the end, notes of cedar spice and nuts replace them. These are cigars of great complexity, and they are of light to medium strength.
